Combined hand and free-form machine embroidery. Use of remnants and assorted swatches: Cotton, Tulle and Canvas stained  in coffee and tea colors.

Subject matter contrasts method of presentation. The viewers' conventional associations visual and cultural, with Quilts and the Art of Quilting, are challenged by the artist's choice of the unusual central image of the quilt.
